A rare find in the UK is this magnificent American Art Deco Waterfall dressing table/vanity which has been given an extensive restoration/refinish.Produced by the United Furniture Corporation in Lexington North Carolina in the 1930s and recently imported from Washington D.C.It features a magestic main mirror and ample storage with 7 drawers. American Walnut veneer to the Waterfall tops, new Zebrawood with a Maple marquetry inlaid to replicate the original design which was badly damaged. It was also missing a drawer pull which we luckily located an exact match in the USA and had it shipped over.Part painted in Coal Black with an Ebony stain and additional top coat for added durability. A hard wax oil has been used to finish the remaining grain.A truly spectacular piece of furniture and one of a kind in the UK.As with all vintage furniture please expect a level of age related wear and tear. Expected wear to the main mirror which does not impact its use but just shows its history and adds to its charm.
