Exquisite 1940s Walnut Sideboard by Milwood Furniture which has been refurbished in the manner of the Peacock doorway from the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago, USA.


 
Coal Black and Gold was a perfect match for the rich figured Walnut grain. The existing finish was removed and refinished with numerous layers of Osmo oil. 


 
The sides feature bespoke wooden onlays featuring the Peacock from the doorway within the world famous hotel (as seen in the last image). 

The interior has ample storage with 2 large cupboards which feature a Peacock fan which has been hand stencilled.
 
The centre of the sideboard contains 4 large drawers which have been lined with a leather effect vinyl. 

This is the first piece from our new "In the manner of" range which will celebrate and showcase Art Deco designs from around the globe. 

As with all vintage furniture, please expect a level of age related wear and tear.
